National Library Week, April 8-14—You belong @ your library.

National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries across the country each April. It is a time to celebrate the contributions of our nation’s libraries and librarians and to promote library use.

See what best-selling author and Honorary Chair of National Library Week, Brad Meltzer, has to say at YouTube about the impact of libraries on his life.  "Without librarians, I wouldn't be a writer today."

At Spooner Elementary we'll be having a special prize drawing for every student who returns a book during library class this week. Just bring back your book and fill out a ticket with your name to enter the drawing.

Activites in the Media Center will be going on all week. You Belong @ Your Library!
